Jimmy's 2019 Yeti SB150

New bike day is one of the most glorious days anyone can ever have. If you can resist the temptation to ride and shoot some photos of your fresh new steed before the tyres hit the trails, that demonstrates a level of commitment that is beyond admirable. Simon met up with Jimmy Pollard within a few hours of his brand new Yeti SB150 being ready to ride to have a look and shoot some photos.

This is an extremely beautiful bicycle. We’re sure you’ll love these photos and reading a few words from the proud owner. Over to you Jimmy.

It takes a few years of consistent racing to figure out what works well for yourself with bike set up. What blows my mind is how every few years, things... (bikes, geometries) change and make you completely rethink you’re whole set up. I guess like the old saying goes if you’re too old to learn you probably always were.

So I’m all of 5”7 mostly waist up and 70 ish kg and this is the 1st larger wheeled bike that has sparked enough interest for me to build one up and try out on some fast steep dusty descents while still having fun at the jump park.

This bike has been put together with the amazing continuing support of.

Yeti NZ, Bikeaholic, Everoutdoor (KS), KRD Imports (Hope, WTB), 4Four3 (Joystick Components)

I’m looking forward to getting it dialled in this week on the local favourite trails and then sending into the deep end in Nelson for the Dodzy Memorial Enduro. Defiantly a bit of redemption on the cards after a couple of major knee surgery’s and a lower back incident that made me unable to compete last year.

We’re really looking forward to seeing what Jimmy does with his beautiful new bike. We wish him the best of luck for the Dodzy and we’ll be sure to catch up trail side as soon as possible to shoot some riding photos. If this has inspired you to get some photos of your new bike, on and off the trail, we would love to help you out.

We’re DOC Approved, OutdoorsMark Safety Audited and raring to go. We’ve developed our ‘Trail Shots’ package with you, the rider in mind. For groups of up to 5 riders, our prices start as low as $120 each.
