Syd was visiting from Australia and wanted to get the most out of his time here in Queenstown. He was here for a few days, so we scheduled our adventure for his first full day, giving us lots of flexibility around the weather. On this magical Monday, we were graced with a beautiful snowfall overnight and into Monday morning.

It wasn’t just the AuthenticAs Queenstown he’d signed up for, learning more about the Southern Night Skies was also on his list. As soon as we knew that the weather was going to work, we merged his day and night adventures into one. It’s amazing when this happens. You’re able to witness the most magical transition between day and night. This is such an incredible time of the day and one that not many people really think about let alone experience. You’ll be immersed in the environment, allowing you to really experience the transition, and before you know it, you’ll be looking at a sky full of stars.
Every time you look at your own AuthenticAs Adventure album of images, you’ll be transported back to that ‘once in a lifetime’ trip to Queenstown. We say that with a pinch of salt, because when you think back to your adventure here, you remember that it doesn’t have to be a once in a lifetime at all.
